1.25" Titanium Paleosphere

145.00

This is a hand machined paleosphere, its made from solid 1.25” titanium. This sphere is less spherical than the rest I’ve made, it turned out to be slightly egg shaped. Each quadrant has a different pattern that was machined into the metal.

Paleospheres are part of the archaeological history of northern Scotland. The examples that have been found are made of carved stone. Each one is slightly different with some similar characteristics. They range in size from 2.5” to 7” in diameter. No know knows for sure what they where used for or what role they played in the culture that created them.
