This is a hand machined brass paleosphere. The originals are found mostly in Scotland and are made from 7” diameter stone. They have no know significance and it is speculated that they where intended to be rolled around in your hands. This small version is inspired by historic examples but not intended to replicate and specific piece. This bronze sphere is my second successful attempt at making a paleosphere.
