This is a hand machined iron paleosphere. The originals are found mostly in Scotland and are made from 7” diameter stone. They have no know significance and it is speculated that they where intended to be rolled around in your hands. This small version is inspired by historic examples but not intended to replicate and specific piece. This 1” sphere has been blued and waxed and weighs 56 grams.
